Pronounced ‘day’, and meaning ‘they’ in Danish, De Salons is a comfortable, considered, design-conscious salon space. Our Danish friends inspire and remind us of a simple, wholesome, and effortless approach to doing the essentials well.
Since we started out in 2015, originally as Cut-Throat London, everybody has always been welcome in our house. The hair industry remains challenging, exciting and ever-changing. To remain here, we’ve had to look inward and evolve. We’ve retired Cut-Throat London after almost ten years. De Salons looks and feels fully representative of who we are, who our clients are and the salon services we offer.
We're pretty sure even our closest and long-standing neighbours thought we were barbershops in both Brixton & Peckham, (and we can obviously see why). Our newly refurbished salons should embody a space that you’re proud to be a part of and enjoy working in. With colleagues that support you and encourage positivity and accountability, we're hoping we're a calm, safe, welcoming, clean, professional, design-led salon that offers a space for you to be authentically you.
